How to read the example numbers
Where the magazine’s example numbers come from, and why recalculating in the lab can give different results.
Real records and calculated examples
For the Blanc article, real match records were used to check “HP just before the choice · the Nikke actually chosen · HP after healing” separately. For the Jackal article, we looked at the real record of who took damage together with an example that calculates the shared damage in whole numbers.
The 13.4-second example match is a simulation result, not a video of a real match. No personal account data or internal analysis material is included.
Lab default stats versus the example
The lab currently calculates with level 400 · core 7 · skills 10/10/10 · phase 3 favorite items for Nikkes that have one · 18% total charge speed for charge-weapon Nikkes. Cubes can be chosen per Nikke from 8 supported types at level 15; if you do not choose one, Resilience Cube is used. See the notes on the lab submit screen for exact conditions.
The example match was calculated with the inputs and engine of that time. Loading a lineup brings only Nikkes and positions and uses current default stats, so loading the same lineup can give a different result from the example.
What should you look at?
Look at how long Indomitability held, the Burst order and who fell when, together. The same lineup can change with stats or critical-hit luck. One example cannot tell you current meta rankings, your own account’s win rate, or whether the engine matches the game exactly.
