Who receives Blanc’s Indomitability?
Blanc’s Indomitability goes to “the ally with the lowest HP at the moment she casts it.” Here is why a Nikke with more HP can look like the one who got it.
What counts is HP at the moment of choosing
Among allies other than herself, Blanc picks the Nikke with the lowest remaining HP number at the exact moment she casts Indomitability. Barriers are not added. What matters is the remaining HP number at that moment, not the HP percentage or the starting maximum HP.
In one match, Scarlet had 9,590,593 and Centi 9,176,669, so Centi was lower and received it. In another, Scarlet had 9,803,310 and Centi 11,346,511, so Scarlet received it. The two matches only had different HP because luck such as critical hits differed — the rule did not change.
Do not be fooled by the screen after healing
Right after receiving Indomitability, Centi was healed to 9,642,789, higher than Scarlet. Looking only at that screen, you might wonder why Centi got it with more HP — but Blanc chose before the heal. The chosen Nikke keeps the follow-up effects too; it does not move to another Nikke each time someone is healed.
Check it in the example match
In the example match, opposing Liberalio and your Scarlet receive Indomitability. While it plays, watch what the two do while holding on with it.
The Nikke with the lowest starting HP is not always the one chosen. The lowest Nikke “at that moment” changes with the damage taken during the fight.
