Anis: Star can make Burst I happen twice
When Anis: Star in Everyone’s Star uses Burst I first, another Burst I follows. Here is when it happens and what changes.
Everyone’s Star and My Own Star
Anis: Star checks the squad at the start of battle and whenever Full Burst ends. If an ally other than herself has a base Burst stage of I, she gets Everyone’s Star; otherwise she gets My Own Star. This is the condition written in her skill description.
With Everyone’s Star, using her Burst I does not move the chain to Burst II; the Burst I stage opens again. This is the skill’s “Re-enters Burst and changes to Burst Stage 1” effect. Another Burst I Nikke then uses Burst I again. If the Burst II and Burst III Nikkes are also alive and able to Burst, the chain runs I → I → II → III, four Bursts in total. A recorded game also showed another Nikke using Burst I again right after Anis: Star’s Burst I.
If every ally that shared Burst I falls, she switches to My Own Star when the next Full Burst ends. With My Own Star there is no re-entry; instead Anis: Star gains ATK and all allies’ Burst Skill cooldown is reduced.
Position decides whether re-entry happens
When several Nikkes can use Burst I, the one in the earlier position (lower P number) among living Nikkes ready to Burst goes first. If Anis: Star sits ahead of the other Burst I Nikke, re-entry happens. If she sits behind, the other Nikke uses Burst I and the chain moves straight to Burst II, so there is no re-entry. She is in Everyone’s Star either way. This applies when both Nikkes are alive and able to Burst. If one has fallen or cannot Burst, the other one uses it.
With re-entry, Full Burst starts one Burst later — about 0.56 seconds in the example below. The lab’s Burst preview marks that position as “Re-enters Burst Stage 1.”
What changes with a 0.56-second delay?
We ran Noah·Anis: Star·Moran·Scarlet·Centi (P1 → P5) and the same lineup with only Anis: Star and Moran swapped, 10 runs each with the lab’s public default stats. Times come from the representative match.
With Anis: Star at P2: Anis: Star Burst I at 2.64s → Moran Burst I (re-entry) at 3.20s → Noah Burst II at 3.76s → Scarlet Burst III at 4.32s, and Full Burst began at 4.42s. With Moran at P2: Moran Burst I at 2.64s → Noah Burst II at 3.20s → Scarlet Burst III at 3.76s, and Full Burst began at 3.86s.
Against the Liberalio·Blanc example lineup, both won 10 of 10. Against Moran·Blanc·Neon·Snow White: Heavy Arms·Centi, the re-entry lineup won 8 of 10 and the other won 4 of 10. Swapping positions also changes which slots the opponent hits, so not all of that difference can be credited to re-entry.
Players often discuss delaying Burst on purpose so the attack lands after the opponent’s invincibility or Indomitability ends. Which is better depends on the opponent. Load both lineups from Deck Notes and compare them against the same opponent. These are simulation results and do not guarantee real in-game win rates.
